After my piece was hung in the Accumulations show, I decided to go back and work with the same forms and create free standing pedestal pieces. The piece is covered with the same graphite treatment.
My next piece is along the same lines, however, the size of the wheel thrown forms starts to vary and how the forms are attached varies more. In the previous work, for the most part, most of the rims align and form a bowl like shape. In this new piece, the pieces attach at different points and the shape is more dome like.
